While all of our treatment options involve medication, we consider the counseling aspect of your care to be our most significant method to support your recovery and combat the depression, fear, and anxiety that are commonly produced by the disease. Addiction and recovery are often accompanied with uncomfortable emotions, and through counseling, we are able to help you rediscover your motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
We design special programs for Persons with co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders, Pregnant/postpartum women and Persons with HIV or AIDS. While all patients need individualized care, these special populations call for special attention and close medical management to ensure their optimal results do not diminish their safety but rather maximize it in all appropriate clinical ways.
The State of North Carolina supports our clinic in various ways, including our credentialing as a Medicaid and Medicare provider. We are also recipients of a special Opioid addiction treatment grant that allows us to offer care FOR FREE to qualifying patients. Medication assisted treatment, when coupled with counseling, can be beneficial to anyone who is looking to rebuild or strengthen their connection with their family, friends, and community as a whole.
